I use to hate summers.  As a dancer in the city, summers were always a struggle with income dropping due to people leaving the city.  Since I started painting, I love summers as an opportunity to do plein air and be outside.  Plein air is my own meditation in the beauty of the outdoors.  I am not your typical plein air painter though.  I look at my painting as an interpretations of what I see.

I am in the process of creating a book, Interpretations, about my artwork.  There are three chapters of the themes that inspired me to create.

  1. Interpretations: Dances on a Surface
  2. Interpretations: Dances about Nature
  3. Interpretations: Dances of the Body Within
